PROJECTS RELATED TO AGING

We will be focused on happy, healthy Ageing. In this area, we will research a wide range of problems through appropriately designed cohort studies to start with.

Many of these areas are relatively under-researched and include those where treatment including surgery and medications have not changed much over the years.

Our first project with the upcoming St. John’s Geriatric Centre has been labelled “10 x 10 x 10K”:

• 10 are the number of ailments we will research.


• 10 is also the number of years for which research will be required and therefore funding required.


• 10K is the cohort size of 10,000 persons who will be recruited for the research studies.
